Singer, songwriter, storyteller, and humorist Mark Lowry will bring an enjoyable evening of music and comedy to Zionsville Performing Arts Center. Best known for penning the Christmas classic, “Mary Did You Know?” and singing baritone for the Grammy-Award-winning Gaither Vocal Band, Mark Lowry has been entertaining audiences of all ages with his versatile music talent for nearly four decades. His unique gift of communicating profound truths through music and comedic storytelling came about by accident when early in his career, Mark needed filler during soundtrack changes in between songs. “Those few seconds of ‘dead air’ can feel like hours when you’re on stage facing a crowd,” Mark says. “So, to fill time, I’d start talking about my life and testimony and people would laugh. I finally realized I was onto something.” Joined by accomplished pianist Matthew Holt and special guest Warren Barfield, Mark will present Unplugged & Unplanned, a night of comedy, music, and ministry. Tickets: $21-$26.
