A local favorite, it's hard to make a trip to Bloomington without visiting this classic spot. Upstairs Pub is located on Kirkwood Avenue just a block from the majestic sample gates of Indiana University. The college bar features tons of drinks and games, so grab yourself a Deep Eddy Vodka soda and let the good times roll.

Boilermakers are already familiar with this Purdue gem. Contrary to the name, Harry's Chocolate Shop offers a different kind of sweet goodness and comes up as one of the most notorious bars in West Lafayette. Is it fun? Uh, yes

Don Hall's Gas House is a gas. The food is top-notch, the people are friendly, and the entire thing is located inside (you guessed it) a historic gas plant. They've been doing their thing for over 75 years now, and the fun shows no signs of abating.

MONROE LAKE

Brown / Monroe County


Monroe Lake is gorgeous and Indiana's largest body water - it's amazing that it's man-made! The lake offers nearly 200 miles of shore and is nestled up against Hoosier National Forest and Brown County State Park with plenty of hikes.

EAGLE CREEK PARK

Indianapolis / 7840 W 56th St.


Eagle Creek Park is Indy's largest park and is also considered one of the biggest city parks in the country. The fun here is seemingly infinite - with nearly 4,000 acres of forestry to compliment the 1,300-acre reservoir.
