Updated MAY 2026.
Indy’s taco scene is deep, messy, and wildly underrated - tucked into strip malls, posted up in parking lots, and hiding in plain sight.
Stop celebrating Taco Tuesday with boring and basic tacos. Try something new with authentic flavors found all around Indy.

We stumbled upon this gem in the Indy Local Foodies Facebook group and the poster claimed they were the “best tacos he had had in Indy so far” after moving here from Colorado! The truck was posted up at 8202 E Washington St., but we're unsure if it moves or if that's a permanent location.

At first glance at their Instagram, Tacopolis is everything we've been searching for. It seems to be well worth the drive to the Westside to give them a try! This is a must-try from their torta offerings, quesadillas, birria, and so much more.
